Today we cleaned out the car port. We found about every bug imaginable, crickets, earwigs, box elders, tato bugs, and mommys favorite SPIDERS!! And Im not talking just your normal house spiders... there were quarter sized Black Widows! (note: "widows") All and all I would say that we found 14-15 dead widows and 4-5 live ones. I'm still not sure how they survived the 11" of snow a couple weeks ago, but Freaked me out! The boys including the 31yr old boy thought it would be fun to make my anxiety worse by playing with them. Ben insists that he got bit at some point, kinda serves him right considering... p.s. hes fine or I would never joke :P
Unfortunately, Brown Widows look a lot like Black Widows and apparently (or so Ben tells me) they are much less aggressive. Whoop te do! Daddy long legs freak me out! So each brown widow I came a cross and ran (as fast as my boot would let me run) gave the boys some great entertainment.
We got it all cleaned out and let the kids skate up and down the drive way and Nate fell twice before I could say "be careful".
Austin got his first pair of Heelys and is still really bad, he fell once right on his tush and bounced and fell again on his tush! There was the mom pause... (the wait for tears...) okay no tears time to laugh :D Then came what I imagine to be his original 10-yr old fart joke.
Mom: omg! you bounced.... hehe
Austin: Must have been my airbags... :P
Thought of the day: Who needs money to have a great time... I believe family time is the best entertainment one could ever ask for. (with less creepy crawlies)

YEAH! We finally found you! We've been putting the address in backwards this whole time. So glad you commented on ours so I could take a look at yours. Good writing! I chuckled through the whole story. I'll totally forward some pictures this afternoon while the girls are napping - fingers crossed on that one.
Wonderful blog, now grandma will not miss everyone so much. Tears of laughter through the whole story. love you all
